We live in a world that values the idea when someone achieves success or prominence by one's own efforts, we called them "self-made". Unfortunately, most of us believe that by doing enough good works we can cancel our wrongdoings - sins. Some would even go to the extent of removing themselves physically from families and society; reducing the temptation to act on their carnal desires; or even emptying themselves by their own effort, through mediation, that on their own, they can remove the burden of sin.
In this sermon series, "Letting Go", we are going to look at a different and a more effective way of how to deal with our "sin" problem. Instead of focusing on our own effort to live a good life, we are going to look at Jesus' (the perfect human and God) way, and how he got rid of the effect of sin once and for all.
