Our mission this year is Loving People into God’s Family. Our hope for the future is not any wishful thinking hoping that somehow the world will get better, but our hope is in Our Lord Jesus Christ’s second coming as the conquering king (Revelation 19:11-16) who will restore all creation.  Just like the prophecies of Christ’s coming were fulfilled when he came to us as a humble servant during Christmas, the prophecies that He will come back again as the King of Kings shall come to pass. Followers of Christ experience the same suffering as non-believers but not without hope (Romans 5:3-5; 1 Thessalonians 4:13).  We prepare for Christ’s coming back by watching and praying (Matthew 26:41).  We continue to fulfil Christ’s call for us – Loving People into God’s Family.
