The purpose of BEMC is to gladly introduce people to Jesus Christ; to passionately worship God as His people; to deeply love one another as God’s family; to diligently grow in understanding as Christ’s disciples; and to humbly serve the needs of others as ministers of God’s grace.

Our purpose statement highlights our desire to intentionally and continuously grow in five areas:

  1. Evangelism: “…to gladly introduce people to Jesus Christ:“ We desire to grow larger through evangelism.

  2. Worship: “… to passionately worship God as His people;“ We desire to grow stronger through worship.

  3. Fellowship: “…to deeply love one another as God’s family;“ We desire to grow warmer through fellowship.

  4. Discipleship: “…to diligently grow as Christ’s disciples;” We desire to grow deeper through discipleship.

  5. Ministry: “…to humbly serve the needs of others as ministers of God’s grace;” We desire to grow broader through ministry.
